This year we celebrate 20 years in the Wodonga region. We asked our 20-year employees what they love about working at Visy Wodonga:

“I enjoy the job I do and the friendships that have evolved over the years.

“I think my favourite memories over the years are seeing how everyone in the company, regardless of position, gets around other team members in times of need.

“Seeing the evolution of the plant from when I started in 2003 – it was basically just finished and there has been continuous progress over the years, such as the construction and then expansion of the Glama plant along with the installation of the Ducker system. Also, the evolution of transport in the last 20 years, with new methods of load restraint and bigger trucks such as A-Doubles are now common place.”

“I would say the opportunities, I walked into the Wodonga site 20 years ago as a process worker with an ambition to become a supervisor, fast forward 20 years and I am a site operations manager.”

We’re proud to have employees who have worked for us for 20 years at the site. We now also have multiple generations of the same family working with us. They include:
