Across Australia, Visy recovers and recycles materials such as cardboard, paper, plastic, steel, aluminium and glass, which otherwise would of been destined to landfill.

How much packaging does Visy produce?
In 2018/19, Visy produced an extraordinary volume of packaging products, as follows:
Fibre packaging: 858,000 tonnes
Steel food cans: 558 million
Beverage cans: 1.8 billion
Plastic containers: 2.5 billion
Plastic preforms: 1.1 billion
How much packaging does Visy recover and recycle in a single year?
In 2018/19, Visy took great pride in its global recycling efforts, which included:
Paper and cardboard: 1.8 million tonnes
Glass: 229,000 tonnes
Plastics: 96,000 tonnes
Metals (eg aluminium and steel cans): 40,000 tonnes
