Visy started its involvement in non-food plastics with the purchase of Hollywood Plastics in 2012, and has continued to make additional investments in new equipment and tooling for various customers.

All non-food plastics are extrusion blow moulded, and the vast majority of products are made with HDPE plastic, which has the required strength for containing industrial products.

Visy’s non-food plastics are manufactured primarily out of 3 sites: Springvale in Victoria, Ingleburn in New South Wales and Heathwood in Queensland.

Industrial plastics are manufactured for a wide range of products including:

• Chemicals

• Lubricants

• Fertilisers

• Industrial oil

• Dangerous goods
