Visy’s range of water based adhesives are specifically designed for horticultural market packaging requirements.
Water based adhesives (also known as waterborne adhesives) are derived from either natural polymers or soluble synthetic polymers.
Natural polymers can be made from vegetable sources (eg. dextrins and starches), protein sources (eg. casein, blood, fish, soybean, milk albumen) or animal sources (eg. hides and bones).
Soluble synthetic polymers can be made from polyvinyl alcohol, cellulose ethers, methylcellulose, and a range of other polymers.
Our Water Base Adhesives
Our water base adhesive range includes:
WB4 - clean water PVA based product for high speed bonding
WB3 - lower viscosity compared to WB4, suitable for same environment with slower machine speed
