Paper Roll Customers
Ensure paper rolls are properly protected
Paper roll customers need to manoeuvre paper rolls to use them in their manufacturing processes, including setting up with printing equipment, corrugators and tissue convertors.
Different size and shaped paper rolls often require clamp systems to ensure the paper rolls are properly protected.
Different clamp systems include:
Standard Paper Roll Clamps - with 180° or 360° rotation, with custom clamp pads for different paper types.
Tissue Roll Clamps - have larger contact pads and opening widths than paper rolls clamps, to increase contact area, and reduce potential damage to the tissue roll.
Roll Upenders - allow paper rolls to be tilted safely up to 90%. They are used for picking up rolls from machines when normal paper roll clamps cannot reach or would be inefficient, or when loading/unloading trucks, etc.
Split Arm Clamps - have the ability to handle two smaller height rolls simultaneously.
Tower Clamps - can handle as many as 6 paper rolls at the same time. These clamps do not revolve, and are suitable for operations where fast unloading is required.

Finished Paper Handling
Finished paper products are still susceptible to external damage
Palletised finished paper products are lower in density than paper rolls, but greater in volume.
The task of handling palletised paper is very similar to that of handling other product types. Even though loads are shrink wrapped and have wooden top lids to facilitate safe stacking, finished paper products are still susceptible to external damage.
