If you thought all PET bottles were pretty much the same, think again. There are countless different types of PET bottles - different colours, sizes, weights and finish types. They're also designed for all sorts of products, from carbonated soft drinks to beer and wine.

At Visy, we're familiar with all of them. We produce a large quantity of PET bottles, and our preforms are available in all shapes and sizes. The type of PET bottle we recommend depends on a number of things, including the product it will be used for, where it will be stored and what the customer's aesthetic requirements are.

One thing is certain though - whether you need a regular PET bottle, one with hot-fill capability or one with barrier technologies, Visy will have a preform for the job.

Non-alcoholic beverage bottles

  • Water
    Our lightweight water bottles range in sizes from 300ml to 2L.
  • Carbonated soft drinks
    Designed to withstand the filler pressure, our carbonated soft drink bottles hold their shape during long-term storage under internal pressure. Carbonated soft drink bottles range from 250ml to 3L.
  • Juice and sports drinks
    Juice and sports drink bottles are supplied for hot-fill, warm-fill and ambient-fill products. Hot-fill bottles are designed with necks that do not deform when heated, bases that also resist deformation and vacuum panels that control bottle collapse (which occurs when the hot contents cool and shrink). Juice and sports drink bottles range from sizes of 250ml to 3L.

Alcoholic beverage bottles

  • Wine
    Ranging in size from 187ml to 1L, our PET wine bottle is ideal for the ready-to-consume purchase.
  • Beer
    Visy offers a premium look and feel PET bottle for beer. These have many advantages over glass in terms of weight, durability and cost - making them ideal for occasions like festivals and BBQs.

Food jars

  • Hot-filled jars
    PET hot-fill jars are a great example of the design flexibility Visy can offer. After a product is filled at a high temperature, the product cools and the internal volume reduces - creating a vacuum in the bottle.
